This work is to be included in the forthcoming Kees Van Dongen Catalogue critique of paintings and drawings being prepared by Jacques Chalom Des Cordes under the sponsorship of the Wildenstein Institute.


According to the late Dolly van Dongen, this watercolour was painted circa 1916-1917 and depicts a model from the Paris couturier house 'Jenny'.
