ANSEL ADAMS (1902-1984)
Interestingly and charmingly, decoration of Polaroid's office walls with photographs by Adams does not seem to have been limited to the Corporation's Cambridge, Mass. headquarters. Lots 253-255 originally graced the walls of Polaroid's Film Manufacturing Plant in Dumbarton, Scotland. All three prints were acquired by the present owner, a former employee, in 1981.
