The body naturalistically carved in the form of an apple, the detachable stem enameled overall in translucent green over a wavy guilloché ground, the top inset with a rose-cut diamond, with interior brush fitting, marked on brush fitting

Purchased by the Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna from Fabergé's St. Petersburg branch, the invoice dated February 7, 1901, for 70 roubles.
