A SILVER-GILT AND GUILLOCHÉ ENAMEL PHOTOGRAPH FRAME
MARKED K. FABERGÉ WITH THE IMPERIAL WARRANT, WITH THE WORKMASTER'S MARK OF ANDERS (ANTTI) NEVALAINEN, ST. PETERSBURG, 1899-1904
Rectangular, enameled in translucent lilac over a wavy guilloché ground, centering a rectangular aperture within a leaf-tip border, enclosing a later photograph of the Imperial family, inscribed 'Livadia 1893', surmounted by a ribbon crest suspending laurel swags, upper corners applied with knotted ropes suspending anchors, lower body applied with rosettes, intertwined wreaths and an arrow, all within a stiff-leaf border, the backing with scroll strut shaped as an 'A', marked throughout
