Each ovoid, the first with oxblood glazed body impressed with the gilt monogram of Empress Maria Feodorovna beneath an Imperial crown, the upper aperture framed with gilt scalloping; the second centering the gilt and painted monogram of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna beneath the Imperial crown, within a wreath of forget-me-nots, the reverse with similar wreath centering a bouquet, all on a white ground, unmarked
