Rectangular, the figures realistically painted, the Christ child with his right hand raised in benediction, the Mother of God behind him, their garments applied overall with seed pearls, the halos champlevé enameled with varicolor geometric motifs, the oklad border engraved overall with rosettes, each corner applied with panel of varicolor cloisonné enamel scrolling foliage, marked throughout, in original silk-lined fitted case stamped in Russian 'Nemirov-Kolodkin Moscow'
