Cal. 9''' mechanical jeweled movement, champagne dial, Breguet numerals, circular case with snap on back, all hinged within the 18K gold George IV Five Pounds coin with the head of George IV to the cover and dated 1904, King George fighting the dragon to the reverse and dated 1937, the hinged cover opened by depressing a concealed thumbpiece in the band, case, dial and movement signed

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch, set in authentic Five Pounds coin with effigy of George IV, with black Breguet numerals in 1938 and its subsequent sale on 27 October 1938. Furthermore delivered with an original fitted brown leather presentation box.

Offered for the first time ever at public auction, the present watch is furthermore the only known George IV Five Pounds coin watch ref. 806 to exist to date.
