The egg-cup on circular spreading foot, the body decorated with carved acanthus leaves and border; with an ovoid rhodonite egg; the egg-cup engraved with 'XII' and Russian inscription under base 'The Imperial Ekaterinburg Lapidary Fact[ory] Managing director V. Mostovenko 1890.', unmarked, in original red leather fitted box stamped on the cover with the Imperial warrant
The egg-cup: 2¼ in. (5.8 cm.) high
