Of traditional form, with stepped prow, the lower section of the body with lobed cartouches enamelled with scrolling foliage on alternating varicoloured grounds, the upper section enamelled with scrolling foliage and flower-heads with translucent red centres on pale blue ground, the stepped hook handle similarly enamelled, the base inscribed 'A Mr Selim Khayta. Souvenir de reconnaissance Serge et Alexandra Cheremeteff. 1908-9-10.', marked under base and on prow; also with French import mark
