A.E. Köchert
La maison Köchert est fondée à Vienne en 1814 par un Français Emmanuel Piot. Cinq ans plus tard, il s'associe avec Jacob Heinrich Köchert, originaire de Riga. Son fils Alexander Emmanuel, qui donne ses initiales à la maison, fait connaître à l'entreprise un énorme essor. Köchert fournit la maison impériale d'Autriche pendant plus de quatre générations ainsi que l'aristocratie et tous les éminents personnages de la vie publique viennoise. Aujourd'hui l'entreprise est dirigée par deux cousins issus de la sixième génération de joailliers.
The maison Köchert was founded in 1814 by the Frenchman Emmanuel Piot in Vienna. Five years later, he entered into a partnership with a Baltic German, Jakob Heinrich Köchert. His son, Alexander Emmanuel, who gave his initials to the firm, developed the business. Köchert served the Imperial House of Austria and the aristocraty for four generations and continues to flourish today in Vienna. The company is now run by two cousins of the sixth generation.
