Je suis à l'aise partout. Trois ou quatre mois en Italie, trois ou quatre aux États-Unis, trois ou quatre en France : c'est mon rythme. Je dois être un peu nomade. Ou quelqu'un de cosmopolite, si vous préférez. Mais c'est sans aucun doute à Paris que je trouve la plus belle lumière - en tous cas, le genre de lumière qui me convient le mieux : à la fois douce et filtrée. "

I feel at ease everywhere. Three or four months in Italy, three or four in the States, three or four in France: that's the rhythm I keep. I must be part nomad. Or a cosmopolitan person, if you prefer. But it is undoubtedly in Paris that I find the most beautiful light - in any case, the kind of light that suits me best: at once soft and filtered.'
