With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with guilloché opaline-white dial, rose gold indexes in 2001 and its subsequent sale on 30 May 2001.

Reference 5110 was launched in 2000, much inspired by the celebrated reference 1415, Patek Philippe's first World Time watch introduced in the 1930s. Reference 5110 was replaced in 2006 by reference 5130.
