Cal. 1225 mechanical lever movement, 17 jewels, black mattet dial, luminous baton and Arabic numerals, sweep centre seconds, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, screw back engraved U.S.M.C KW-95 117, screw down crown, stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet and deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed

The present watch is part of an exceedingly small series of Commando wristwatches released in 1972 only for the United States market. This model was the least expensive watch in the Rolex catalogue at the time and it is now one of the rarest Rolex models on the market.
