etching, 1929, printed on the reverse of an architectural engraving, probably an unsigned printer's proof of the first state (of two), inscribed la velatura d'ovvido si leverà facilmente - 20 esemplari in pencil (the numbered edition of the first state was thirty), with margins, some creases and two repaired paper losses at the lower sheet edge, generally in good condition

Cordaro points out that the impression at the Uffizi is also printed on the reverse of an architectural engraving, indicating the practice of re-using paper for printing in the Calcografia in Rome.
