Lot Essay

This impression has been compared with the example in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, which the museum acquired in 1967. It is printed on the same distinctive paper and matches the registration and overlaying of the colour plates. The colours are unusually well preserved and compare well with the museum's impression.
