Lot Essay

Postcards shared between Abanindranath Tagore and Nandalal Bose speaks of their friendship, the intimacy and admiration they had for each other. They would write to each other frequently whether in the form of words, or lines or color and the tiny format of these postcards lent to the intimacy between them. The essence of a place is captured by the immediacy of lines and spare use of color sometimes peppered with words between two friends.
