An Art Deco enamel, onyx and diamond vanity case, by Janesich
Designed as a striped white and black enamel and gold cylindrical case with onyx terminals, rose-cut diamond detail and cabochon sapphire or rose-cut diamond push-pieces, each terminal opening to reveal either a pill compartment or a vesta compartment with "strike-a-light", the center opening to reveal an ivory carnet de bal, a pencil, a cigarette filter and a hidden fitted mirror and cigarette compartment, circa 1920, 10.7 x 4.4 x 2.4 cm, with French assay marks
