Further Details
The object is based on a common milestone - one of those positioned as distance indicators along the road in regular intervals. Inherent to the concrete mix is a special ingredient, visualising physical as well as temporal distance: by adding concrete that has crumbled away from Corbusier's "Unit d'Habitation" in Marseille (built in 1942) a small momument of modernism is being erected.
