Solo exhibitions include: The Saatchi Gallery, London, 1991; Locks Gallery, Philadelphia, 1999; Gagosian Gallery, New York, 2008; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, 2012; Group exhibitions include: Synthetic, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, 2009; Edition Non Edition, Galerie Meyer Kainer, Vienna, 2011. Elected into The American Academy of Arts and Letters, New York, 2002; won the Wolfgang Hahn Prize, Cologne, Germany, 2002. He died in 2013.
