Solo exhibitions include: Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, 1993; Tate Gallery, Liverpool, 1996; British Pavilion, 47th Venice Biennale, 1997; Serpentine Gallery, London, 2001; Monument, Fourth Plinth, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, London, 2001; Embankment, Turbine Hall, Tate Modern, London, 2005; Gagosian Gallery, London, 2010. Group exhibitions include: Sensation, Royal Academy of Arts, London, 1997; Psycho Buildings, Hayward Gallery, London, 2008; The Surreal House, Barbican Art Gallery, London, 2010. Major works include House, 1993-94 (destroyed); Judenplatz Holocaust Memorial, Vienna, 2002; and Untitled Monument, Trafalgar Square fourth plinth, London, 2001. Short-listed for the Turner Prize, 1991 and 1993. She lives in London.
