With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated 27 October 2003 confirming the ruby-set dial, Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres, additional case back, ruby-set setting pin, sales tag, portfolio photographs, instruction manual, product literature, leather portfolio and fitted slip case.

Introduced in 1994, reference 5016 is certainly one of the most exclusive and attractive watches a connoisseur can aspire to. Examples like the present one, with a potentially unique dial, are considered trophies and offer everything watch collectors define as paramount: style, mechanics, exclusivity and condition.

Coming from an important private collection, it has never been offered at auction before. Without exaggeration, there is most likely no other publicly known pink gold reference 5016 with such a dial. This is only the second time a pink gold reference 5016 has been offered on the market.

In a world of ever increasing scholarship and consequently stronger and stronger demand by the world's elite of wristwatch collectors, such examples as the present reference 5016 become close to impossible finds. Christie's is proud to offer this exceptional watch for auction.
