Each oblong, the gadrooned rim with shells and foliage at intervals, the domed cover surmounted by a removable reeded and lion's-mask bracket handle with a foliate and flowerhead calyx, one side of cover later engraved with a crest and motto within crossed fronds, each marked under base, under cover, and on handle
