Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Certificat d'Origine et de Garantie dated 16 July 1896 and original fitted presentation box containing two spare crystals still wrapped in period paper numbered "209674". Furthermore delivered with the Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with "Vermicelle" decoration in 1892 and its subsequent sale on 16 July 1896.

Consigned by a descendant of the original owner, the watch has never been offered in public before and is preserved in excellent overall condition.
