T.S. Eliot's father, Henry Ware Eliot was educated at Washington University, St Louis and had successful career becoming the Treasurer and President of the Hydraulic-Press Brick Company. He married Charlotte Champe Stearns in 1868. T.S. Eliot was the youngest of their seven children.
