Ovoid, enamelled overall in translucent royal blue over a guilloché diaper pattern ground, centring a circular aperture within a laurel wreath-chased border with ribbon ties on each side, the outer border chased with Greek fret pattern, the sides applied with pine cone finials, the silver-gilt back with an angular strut, marked on back
