Of upright oval form, on a spreading reeded foot, the blue glazed body with reeded rim chased with ribbon ties at intervals, with griffin-shaped scroll handle, marked under base and on rim

Provenance
Emperor Nicholas II (1868-1918) and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna (1872-1918), purchased from Fabergé's St Petersburg branch on 29 November 1905 for 47 roubles.
