Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 2005 and its subsequent sale on September 5th of the same year. Further accompanied by an undated Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, Patek Philippe presentation box, leather envelope, product literature, and outer packaging.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.

The reference 5134 "Travel Time" was produced from 2001 through 2008, and replaced the reference 5034, which was the first travel time wristwatch of modern production. Travel time wristwatches were designed to show the local time independently of the home time, and also featured a 24 hour subsidiary dial.
