Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with rose dial in 1942 and its subsequent sale on August 27th of the following year. Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe presentation box and outer packaging.

Reference 130 is Patek Philippe's most classic chronograph design recognized by its Calatrava case, flat rectangular chronograph push buttons and concave bezel. The production of the reference 130 was launched in 1934. The model was produced in different precious metal versions as well as in stainless steel.

The present watch is one of nine known examples with a pink dial and case, and Roman and oversized indexes.
