Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1982 and its subsequent sale on September 14th of the following year. Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certiificate of Origin dated October 8th, 1983 and stamped by the retailer Beyer in Zurich, Switzerland, and with a Patek Philippe presentation box.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.

The Extract notes that the original case was replaced by the present case during a servicing at their premises in October of 1986.

The Ref. 3800/1 was produced from 1981 until 2006 in a multitude of versions. This early stainless steel example retailed by Beyer in Zurich is from the first series of watches which were made until 1987 featuring a caliber 335 SC.
