Lot Essay

Accompanied by a Rolex Guarantee dated February 12, 1985, product literature, and green envelope.

Reference 16800 was launched in 1982 and introduced the quick-set date. The depth rating was increased to 1000 feet (300 meters). The present watch is from the early series, still fitted with the black matte dial and without the white gold frames around the luminous numerals. It is furthermore preserved in very good, original overall condition.
