Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1995 and its subsequent sale on July 30th of the following year. Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated October of 1996, wooden Patek Philippe presentation box, additional sapphire crystal display back, setting pink, suede pouch, leather portfolio, product literature, and outer packaging.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.

Production of the reference 5040 began in 1992 and ceased in 2009. It was produced in yellow, pink, and white gold, as well as in platinum. The majority were produced in yellow gold, with the least being produced in pink gold.
