Lot Essay

Agnetti shared a particular understanding with Manzoni: in fact, he wrote several prefaces to his publications (such as the presentation of the "Tables of Assessment", and the essay on his Linee (Lines).
I have already given an outline of him as the great conceptual artist that he is: his theatre is the universe, with an acute eye, and a huge heart, on human feeling and on language, which conveys its possibilities for expression and communication. His words, immortalised in his Assiomi (Axioms), or in other works, underline an intellectual sophistication and ability to think critically that were exceptional. Presented here is the axiom par excellence: concise, lapidary, specular... and lastly, circular, like the concept that forms it.
