A 19th century diamond, moonstone and enamel serpent bangle
The sprung bangle of dark blue guilloché enamel, the head with graduated cabochon moonstone crest decorated with old brilliant-cut diamond detail, the cabochon ruby eyes with rose-cut diamond brow, the hinges with rose-cut diamond accents, the interior with two engraved inscriptions, circa 1845
