Lot Essay

Adams was long concerned about vulgar souvenirs being sold in national parks and instead offered his tasteful and affordable 'Special Edition' prints to visitors to Yosemite. Half Dome, Winter is one of the most desirable from the series. Both prints are fully signed by the photographer.
