Modelled as an insect, the cushion shaped sapphire, weighing approximately 4.75 carats, to old brilliant-cut diamond pierced wings, old-cut diamond head and antennae and cabochon ruby eyes, detachable brooch fitting, 5.9cm long
Accompanied by report no. 08774 dated 25th October 2013 from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory for the sapphire stating that no evidence of treatment was observed, origin opinion: Sri Lanka
