etching, 1889, printed in brown, on thin laid paper, signed with the butterfly on the tab and annotated imp, a fine impression of Glasgow's fifth, final state, in addition to the 13 impressions in all states recorded so far by the Whistler Etchings Project, trimmed to the plate as published, a pin-hole at left, scattered thin-spots on the reverse at right (possibly inherent in the paper), a few short nicks at the sheet edges, othwerwise in good condition.
