With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered satiné-finished dial, rose gold hour markers, gold hands in 1938 and its subsequent sale on 11 October 1938.

Manufacture of reference 572 was launched in 1938. A similar watch is illustrated in Ore d'Oro 2 by Jader Barracca, Giampiero Negretti, Franco Nencini, p. 44, pl. 17.
