Gilt-finished jewelled two train keywound lever movement, bimetallic compensation curb on the regulator, engine-turned gold cuvette, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, blued steel moon-style hands, independent centre seconds, circular case, back engraved with a view of Zurich and inscription Die Munsterbrucke in Zurick, centre seconds stop/start lever in the ribbed band cuvette signed

Lot Essay

The engraved view on the case back of the present watch shows the Münsterbrücke in Zurich, Liebfraumünster to the right and the city hall to the right. Amusingly the engraved inscription reads "Munsterbrucke" omitting the German umlauts and "Zurick" instead of Zürich.
