Rectangular with canted corners, the cover finely painted with figures before a river landscape, within a split-pearl border, the sides and base with translucent blue guilloché enamel panels within polychrome borders, marked inside base with incuse monogram, possibly LG beneath a crown; also with later French control marks on bezel
