Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvery rose dial in 1942 and its subsequent sale on September 23rd of the same year.

The present watch is an attractive example of the successful and sought-after reference 565, standing out through its strong pink colored dial. The retailer's signature Freccero above the subsidiary seconds dial enhances the uniqueness of this fine watch.

Reference 565 was available with either subsidiary or sweep center seconds: the first series with caliber 12'''120, such as the present watch, was launched in 1938. The second series with caliber 12 SC movement was launched in 1942.
