Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1999 and its subsequent sale on August 11th of the same year.

Reference 5091, along with references 5090, 4890, and 4891 - the "Sculpture" models - were produced in 1999 for the Russian market, to celebrate a successful collaboration with the local Patek Philippe distributor. Produced in a limited edition of 2700 watches in total for all four references, each reference was limited to no more than 300 pieces for each variation in dial, bezel, and case.

The model was launched exclusively in Russia for the first six months of production, at which time the remainder would be offered around the world through Patek Philippe retailers.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.
