Lot Essay

According to the manufacturer, the present watch was produced in 2002 and set with 277 diamonds with an approximate weight of 71 carats.

In 1990, Piaget launched the Aura model, exclusively set with diamonds. The model immediately became a must-have luxury watch, seen as a marriage between haute horology and jewelry. In 1993, Piaget began to produce various versions of the Aura model, set with different colored precious stones, always in a limited series.

The Aura model, so named because the diamonds are like rays of light fanning out from the center of the dial onto the case and bracelet, has a dazzling effect on the wearer. The undeniable radiance and extravagance of the Aura has become known as an iconic and timeless watch, crafted of large and exceptionally high-quality diamonds. Each stone on the watch is individually cut by hand to fit in its exact location in the timepiece.

This incredible watch represents a rare opportunity for the appreciator of haute horology and high jewelry to acquire one of the most extraordinary and scarce timepieces created.
