Gilt Paris movement, hammer striking on a gong, brass pendulum, yellow arabesque enamel dial, Roman numerals on a gilt chapter ring with central floral motif, lower polychrome enamel panel with three gentlemen in a country landscape, red and blue border, all surrounded by a purple border with green lozenge and white florets, the side panels with yellow arabesque background, polychrome country scenes with castles, red and blue border, outer purple border with green lozenge and white florets, architectural case with fluted columns to the front, surmounted by a half-dome piece with yellow arabesque background and polychrome floral and geometric motif, topped with a finial, case and movement numbered
