This work is sold with a certificate of authenticity from ADOM (Association pour la défense de l'oeuvre de Joan Miró).

The present work is one of a series of gouaches and watercolours over woodcuts created by Joan Miró to complement the album Femmes. The album, with accompanying text by Claude Simon, was published by Galerie Maeght in 1965.
