etching and drypoint, 1896, on simili Japan paper, Elesh’s third state (of four), signed, dated, titled and dedicated 'pour Ernestine Mollet' in pencil, counter-signed and titled in pencil verso, with wide margins, light-staining, a few pale foxmarks in the upper subject, a small stain in the left margin, other staining at the upper and lower sheet edges, otherwise generally in good condition
