drypoint, circa 1900-05, on Arches laid paper, a superb impression of this very rare, presumably unique subject, printing with rich burr, signed in black crayon, inscribed in pencil by another hand 'planche détruite / unique épreuve', with margins, the sheet slightly reduced at left, pale time staining, otherwise in very good condition
