Lot Essay

DORANE is a rich and elegant painting by Charles Hossein Zenderoudi with an exquisite demonstration of colours, unconventional and fresh. From one side to the other, the canvas is crossed by three wide ripples with saturated tones of turquoise, caeruleum blue and fuchsia pink. With the contrast of black and white, the mix of elongated shapes, non-letters and letters seems to tighten or
expand the space of this painting in order to keep the fatness of the pictorial space. In this masterly and original painting, the talents of Charles Hossein ZENDEROUDI colourist are once again here, obvious.
