The board with alternating foliate engraved squares, on scrolling foliate feet, stamped with sterling marks and 'MADE IN PORTUGAL FOR ASPREY'S LONDON, No. 2', all the pieces stamped, fitted in a velvet lined tray and box with Aprey's & Co. Ltd mark
The board -- 13 ½ in. (34.2 cm.) wide, overall; the king -- 2 7/8 in. (7.5 cm.) high; the pawn -- 1 ½ in. (3.8 cm.) high
