Lot Essay

The present timepiece is an example of early production of the first automatic Daytonas, powered by a modified Zenith El Primero calibre. It distinguishes itself from its peers by the very rare four lines dial, instead of the more common five lines. Impressing the beholder with its luxurious glow and remarkable condition, this highly collectible chronograph would be a wonderful addition to any Rolex collection.
