The rectangular step-cut aquamarine shell, weighing approximately 69.40 carats, in a circular-cut sapphire surround, to the coloured diamond legs, tail and head, diamond detail and pear-shaped sapphire eyes, 5.5 cm, with French assay mark for gold, in red leather Cartier case
Signed and with maker's mark for Cartier, nos. 079951 and 12379
Accompanied by copy of receipt from Cartier dated 7 August 1972
